The Bakhchisarai Menhir - The Stonehenge of Crimea
Purpose: • To prove the involvement of menhir of Bakhchisarai and dioptric window to the ancient Astrophysical Observatory. Objectives: • To find out the location of the Menhir of Bakhchisarai; • To capture the sunrise by photography; • To study the history of the installation of the menhir; • To determine the physical properties of the menhir; • To calculate the properties of the Earth.
Dolmens (from Bret. “tol” - table, “men” -stone) - an ancient megalithi c (that is built of large stones or stone slabs) construction of some form Dolmens in Ireland
Cromlech - (by Brett. “kromm”rounded, lec'hplace) an ancient building, which is a multiple set vertically processed or unprocessed, oblong stone. Stonehenge, England
Menhir (from Bret. “men” - stone and hir long) - the simplest megalith in the form prescribed by man roughly cut stone. "The champion" was Men-er-Hroech (Stone Fey) from Lokmariakera (France), which was destroyed around 1727

The installation of the Menhir The first step: pull the stone down the slope The second step: dig a hole in the stone warping The third step: stone dragged into the pit. The fourth step: fasten the stone in the pit.

Calculations of the parameters of the Earth The period of rotation of the Earth on the ecliptic The orbital speed The radius of the earth The linear velocity of rotation The angular velocity of rotation The radiation background The research results
The period of the Earth rotation on the ecliptic April 5, 2009 April 5, 2010 7. 10 A. M 7. 6 A. M T= 52 full weeks, 23 hours, 56 minutes= =(364∙ 24+23)∙ 3600+56∙ 60=31535760 s
The orbital speed of rotation of the Earth R=1, 5 ∙ 108 km The average velocity of orbital motion of the Earth is 29. 765 km/s Inaccuracy in the calculation

Calculation of the Earth radius l = 80 cm. h = 81, 5 cм. Defined tangent α = 44° 27‘ Geographical coordinates of the point of observation 44° 46’ 65" north latitude, 33° 54'572" east longitude. S - equatorial distance to the observation point S = (44°+46'/60+65"/60. 60)∙ 111 km/°=44, 78° 111 km/°=968, 36 km We find the length of meridian circle According to the formula, calculate the Earth radius
The linear velocity of rotation The tested menhir goes round the Earth once every sidereal day along the circumference of the Earth radius of 6360. 21 km. =0, 46358 km/s=463, 58 m/s
The angular velocity of rotation. υ - linear velocity of rotation of the earth at this latitude; υ=463, 58 m/s, r-radius of the earth's surface at the location of menhir; r = 6360, 21 km. The angular velocity of the Earth rotation is 7, 2921∙ 10 -5 rot/s. We define the inaccuracy in the calculation of the angular velocity
Measurements of radioactivity of menhir.
In this research I have: Found the location of menhir of Bakhchisarai; Recorded photographing the sunrise; Studied the history of the installation of the Menhir; Determined the physical parameters of the Menhir; Calculated the parameters of the Earth Proved the involvement of the Menhir’s dioptric window within the ancient Astrophysical Observatory.
