It was at that time when our country was called the USSR, when our grandfathers and grandmothers were young, healthy and full of energy. They were happy. They dreamed about their future and a better life. But their dreams never came true. On June 22 nd in 1941 the fascist invaders attacked our country. A lot of bombs were thrown on our cities and villages. The Great Patriotic War begins.
But why are the war veterans so sad ? Why can we see tears in their eyes ? What do they remember on this day? What kind of war was it? What was the price that our people paid for it?
Our town Nefteyugansk always celebrate Victory Day. Every year veterans and other citizens come to the monument of Soldier-Liberator and put flowers there.
