When abroad Moscow Reached the hordes of fascism, Soldiers fought like lions, For honor desecrated homeland. Celebration of the Victory Day May 9 Russia celebrates Victory Day. The Day of Victory over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War. The war began on 22 June 1941. Our people rose to fight against the Nazi invaders: there were queues to military commissariats , sometimes teenagers went to the front straight from school. At the rear there were only women, children and the elderly. They worked at factories, dug trenches and built fortifications, quenched on the roofs of incendiary bombs. At the same time - raising children, saving the country's future. The main motto of all the people was: "Everything for the front, everything for victory!"
VICTORY Soviet Union's victory in the war on Hitler's Germany was due to several reasons. In extreme conditions of wartime Soviet economy was able to go faster on the issue of weapons and exceed industrial might of the fascist bloc. The country's leading Communist Party was trusted and supported by the majority of the population. The war for the Soviet Union was defensive and fair. This contributed to the raise of traditional Russian and Soviet patriotism. More than 11. 5 thousand people received the title of the Hero of the Soviet Union. Logistical and military support from its allies in the anti-Hitler coalition contributed to the victory of the USSR.
