Tenuta della Contessa is a restored Tuscan hamlet surrounded by four hectares of land with pool and olive groves.

The estate, which dates from the 18 th century, comprises. two main buildings, the chapel and three annexes. The main house has a total surface area of around 823 m 2 over three floors. On the ground floor there is the living area, with kitchen, basement room, dining room, large double living room and bathroom, plus a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and its own entrance. The two upper floors, accessible both from inside and by a separate entrance via a typical outdoor staircase, boast a total of 9 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, many of which are en-suite, and 4 living rooms.

Outside, a pretty porch and a large, panoramic terrace overlooking the valley function as a living/dining room in the summer. The second house also has three floors and has a total surface area of around 543 m 2. Inside there is a kitchen. three storerooms, two store cupboards and a wood-burning oven on the ground floor. An old private chapel with the sacristy, another kitchen, living room, three bedrooms, store cupboard and bathroom on the floor above and another bedroom on the top floor.

The estate is surrounded by around four hectares of land with swimming pool. Not far from the two main buildings there another three annexes measuring 50, 68 and 96 m 2, all with storage space and two wood-burning ovens dating back to the 18 th century.

Location Tenuta della Contessa is a small hamlet on a hillock, with a magnificent view of the Tuscan hills, the valley and Castiglion Fiorentino, just 7 km away. The location is central in relation to Tuscany and Umbria’s main historic cities, and is an ideal starting point for day trips and excursions throughout Central Italy: Cortona (18 km) and Arezzo (25 km) are less than half an hour’s drive. In around an hour you can reach Pienza and the Val d’Orcia (57 km), Perugia (61 km) or Siena (82 km), and Florence in a little over an hour (97 km). The nearest airport is Perugia, 77 km away.
