More Lessons Learned • Issues management is critical • Establish a baseline and stick to it – Use Upgrade Assistant Spreadsheet – Create your own checklists from Oracle Documentation • Practice, practice – Document your results along the way • Patches will be necessary – Work very closely with functional team to establish patch list • Use at least two DBAs for the upgrade BOSS
