To find out, learn, analyze and compare the ways of spending free time by the teenagers in three countries: Great Britain, Russia, United States of America 4. Work out advices for teenagers on using their free time effectively
The hypothesis We suppose that the teenagers abroad and the Russian ones as well spend their free time irrationally. And if it is really so, we are going to give recommendations how correctly and rationally to use free time.
Methods • • Studying Internet and book resources Questioning pupils of 7 classes Analyzing the results of the survey Comparing the results in diagrams
Practical part 56 students were asked questions to find out about their free time. 1. Do you have much free time? 2. Do you attend any clubs? 3. How do you like to spend your free time? 4. How would you like to spend your free time? 5. What do you think should be done to make teenagers’ leisure better? 6. How often do you use the Internet? 7. Do you go to the concerts, theatres, museums? 8. Do you go in for sports? 9. Do you read in your free time? 10. What do you read in your free time?

How do you like to spend your free time? 55% - with their friends 35% -with their families 7% - sitting at the computer 3% - like to be alone
How would you like to spend your free time? 47% - hang out in the street 20% don’t know 13% - at the computer 9% - studying 7% - for having a rest 4% - for selfdevelopment
What do you think should be done to make teenagers’ leisure better? 46% - young people are not involved in enough activities 27% - a lack of available clubs in Izhevsk 27% - no need to do anything for organizing leisure
