Some multiuser licenses are per-seat and limit users to a specific number, whereas concurrent licenses limit the number of users accessing the software at the same time. • What warranties, if any, are offered? Freeware and Shareware • Freeware: Copyrighted software you can use for free • Beta versions: Programs still under development • Shareware: Software that allows users to run it for a limited time for free. If you use the software after the initial trial period is over, you will be breaking the software license agreement. • Open source: Free to use and modify on the condition that any changes you make to improve the source code also must be distributed for free.
