Water Projects Department Role In order to help kahramaa achieve its objectives, WP role is to provide Kahramaa with design engineering and execution of all water related projects and other civil constructions such as :

1. Construction of New and Refurbishment of Water Retaining Structures e. g. 1. 1 Reservoirs (RC, steel, GRP, glass fused etc. . ) 1. 2 Tanks (RC, steel, GRP, glass fused etc. . ) 2. Construction of New, Extensions, Refurbishment of Pump Stations. 3. Construction of Primary Mains downstream the Power and Desalination Stations 4. 5. 6. Extensions and Replacement of Primary Mains Extensions and Replacement of Distribution Networks General Buildings (e. g. Warehouses, Administration Buildings Water Laboratories , . . etc)

Water projects department currently has a number of running contracts. Some contracts are newly awarded; And some others are being prepared for tendering soon. In addition New projects are frequently received from the end user (WNA) to cover the timely development in QATAR.
