Why teenagers enter in subcultures Youth subcultures in modern Russia cover usually schoolboys and schoolgirls. Psychologists assert that so teenagers form a self-appraisal, it is easier to them to express the individuality. The youth asserts that matter is not in underestimated to a self-appraisal: new trends in the Russian society cause change of the accepted installations. Anyway, today it is enough youth currents, and their adherents are united by much, from philosophy to symbolics. We will consider the different organizations to present an overall picture.
Nonconformists strongly differ from each other declared purposes, values and, behavior and pastime. For example, unite on the basis of preference of certain styles of music, dances.
Historic fact In 1986 existence of informal groupings in the SSSR has been officially recognized. On a tacit consent teenagers began ' to be fenced off ' from people by clothes, attributes, a slang, manners and morals, for as were exposed to condemnation. Then teenage groupings also have started to divide on asocial and antisocial etc. For example, punks, hippie, bikers carried to asocial: they didn't represent threat to a society, but also to the general norms of behavior didn't submit. Antisocial named teenage groupings which had aggressive character, affirming at the expense of others.
In separate group the known youth groupings which have selected symbolics with a swastika were allocated with all. They name themselves ' fashikamy ', ' fascists ', ' Nazi ', ' nazis ', ' National front '. In the people they are more known as skinheads.
But there also youth associations which have received the name of the prosocial: these are associations on protection of the nature, architecture monuments. These groups, which purpose to benefit a society, are small, but are active.
Also there are informal groups of an art direction. It is interesting also so-called ' a computer underground ' - the original youth world in which it is a lot of subgroups with specific structure: at the lowest level there are users (users), then there is a group ' points ', further - ' sysops ', or system operators (managers), supervise over them so-called network communicators. In this world there is a special slang and style of dialogue. In ' real ' they compensate absence of constant contact by an exchange of electronic letters which became their ritual.
Football fans consider as the subculture close to criminal. It is aggravated with that fans - one of the most active teenage groups in Russia. That is characteristic for fans - they, as a rule, at all don't know history of commands, but ' in a course ' recent events and forthcoming matches. For them great value the emotional discharge has, possibility to shout, brawl and mix different installations and styles of life.
Ecologists such youth movements protecting environment, in Russia are unpopular and small. Actions Russian ' Green Peace ' generally are inefficient and are imitation the West. Such movements are convenient forming at official structures: independently exist they can't because of material difficulties and legal obstacles.
This project we wanted to show, what subcultures exist in Russia why teenagers enter them and as on examples of some organizations to show that from itself represent youth associations.
