Stylistics is a branch of linguistics, concerned with the study of style in texts, especially literary works.
Style “Style is a product of individual choices and patterns of choices among linguistic possibilities. ” Seymour Chatman
Expressive Means(EM) and Stylistic Devices(SD) Expressive means are linguistic forms and properties that make the utterance emphatic or expressive. Stylistic device is a combination of general semantic meaning and a certain linguistic form, result of which to get stylistic effect.

Alliteration is one of the stylistic devices, which target consists in the repetition of similar sounds, in particular consonant sounds. Alliteration aims at imparting a melodic effect to the utterance.
