Why should I go abroad? To broaden or deepen your knowledge It is good for your English proficiency It is good for your personal development – you get an insight view of another country/environment As a graduate with a period abroad on your CV you have a better position on the labour market
What am I going to do abroad, where and when? Study or internship? If Study: Not only optional credits can be done abroad, but also obligatory course parts are possible if you have approval of the Examination Board Which country? In or outside of Europe? In which part of my study programme? Bachelor or master? => undergraduate versus graduate
