The Projection on Regional Relationship and Solutions (1) § Israel acts by virtue of the following agreements: -Peace Treaty – Jordan and Israel (26 Oct. 1994) -Interim Agreement – Palestinians and Israel (28 Sept. 1995) § Water is an integral part of the agreement like other issues, such as security, borders , etc. 14
The Projection on Regional Relationship and Solutions (2) § Bilateral activities (JWC, JTC, JSET’s). § Multilateral activities. § Water shortage forces the parties to bring the water supply issue out of the conflict. 15
Towards the Future… § Sharing knowledge and experience in water resources management. § Continuous search for mutual creative solutions of additional water resources. § Implementation of new water resources with the assistance of donor countries. 16
Towards the Future… Water should be a catalyst for cooperation and not a cause for arguments and disputes! 17
