What next? LEADER Leading Women to Engineering – to enhance equal and transparent access to higher education • • • Develop an international holistic program to inspire, engage and encourage female students to study engineering and choose the engineering profession as a career. Establish a program of regularly scheduled networking and mentoring meetings (students, faculty, and industry) that include all aspects of career planning. Develop and implement an academic international and multidisciplinary course "Management in a Man’s World" in all participating PC institutions. Develop and implement a voluntary program for mentoring of 9 th grade high school girls by female engineering students to change their perception of the Engineering profession, historically dominated by males. Establish a website portal for the Leader program to facilitate participating PC and EU institutions in adopting, sustaining and further disseminating the project. Develop and implement a marketing campaign to increase awareness and encourage and support more women in applying for studies in Engineering.
