SSD 2 | Computer hardware

Motherboard: Provides sockets for microprocessor and memory chips, slots for circuit boards(платы), and the circuitry that enable electrical signals to travel from component to component. SSD 2 | Computer hardware

Power supply: Provides electrical power to the computer system. SSD 2 | Computer hardware

Microprocessor: A microprocessor – (CPU or central processing unit) - a complete computation engine that is fabricated on a single chip. Processes instructions stored in main memory. Microprocessor is found underneath a cooling fan to prevent it from overheating. SSD 2 | Computer hardware

Microprocessor:

Expansion slot: Serves as a socket on the motherboard into which an expansion card maybe inserted. SSD 2 | Computer hardware

Expansion card: Enables a computer to control peripheral devices such as the monitor and the microphone. SSD 2 | Computer hardware

Chipset: Controls data flow among component. SSD 2 | Computer hardware

IDE (Integrated Drive Electronics) cable: Transfers data from storage devices to the motherboard. SSD 2 | Computer hardware

Disk drive: • A machine that reads data from and writes data onto a disk.
