Stella Mc. Cartney was born and raised in London, and graduated from Central St Martins Design College. After enjoying great success during her tenure as Creative Director at Chloe, Stella Mc. Cartney launched her own fashion brand in 2001 a joint venture with Gucci Group. A signature style of sharp tailoring, natural confidence and sexy femininity was immediately apparent in her first collection. In addition a long-term partnership with adidas was introduced in spring/summer 05. The critically acclaimed sports performance collection “adidas by Stella Mc. Cartney” has since successfully grown to include several sports categories.
