Sport education and personal development Moscow By: Demakova Liza School № 752 Teacher: Yaralova Karina Leonidovna
Sport occupies different places in the life of each of us. Nevertheless, we all understand that sport is one of the best educators of character. Any sportsman should have a great willpower and patience. Sport has never been very important for me. But in spite of this, I always realize what a great place it occupies in the life of the people. It is not only a hobby, for someone it's a whole life!
My aunt is a person who taught me to like and respect sport. Her name is Burdyga Natalia. Nowadays, She is the Ukrainian biathlete. She was born and was brought up in the small town of Perm region. She has liked sport and been a fan of biathlon since childhood.
Her father was her the first personal trainer. He taught Natalia to like and respect sport. And he helped her to develop the most important qualities for sportswoman. When Natalia graduated from the school she entered the University of physical culture in Tchaikovsky. She already had a new trainer. His name is Karincev I. A.
Natalia’s career began to develop rapidly. She won 3 gold medals in 2003 on the European Championship among juniors. She also won gold and silver medals in 2004 on the European Championship among juniors. But in 2006 was a turning point in her career.
In 2006 she won the world summer biathlon, but doping was found in her blood and she was deprived of this title. Natalia Burdyga was disqualified for 2 years. In 2010 Natalia got an offer to play for the national team of Ukraine. She agreed and received Ukrainian citizenship. In 2010 she already took part in the international competition for the national team of Ukraine.
Despite the difficult career, she has never stopped to love her work and to overcome all the difficulties. Nowadays, she is the Ukrainian biathlete and she strives for new victories. I believe, that she can be a powerful authority for many future sportsmen. Perhaps, the story of her life will teach someone to respect and love sport too!
