SPE Star Scholarship and Fellowship Application Checklist Verify you meet all of the eligibility requirements. ☐ A student enrolled, or soon to be enrolled, in curriculum related to the petroleum industry ☐ An SPE member, if eligible; Verify current SPE membership and member number by logging in. NOTE: If you are unsure of your user name and password, use Password Assistance or contact Customer service. Do NOT create another login. ☐ Still enrolled in 2015 ☐ Comply with Sanction Policy ☐Update contact information (email, phone, primary address) in membership record ☐Update education information (University, degree type/level, graduation date, etc.) in membership record for all universities attended ☐Read Frequently Asked Questions. ☐Request a letter of recommendation from at least one professor, advisor, or employer, etc. ☐Fill out ALL required fields and as much information as possible in the online application. ☐Write essay – 250 words minimum, answers all questions ☐Gather and attach ALL of the required documents: A letter of recommendation, but no more than 2 A copy of entrance exam scores (examples: ACT, SAT, GRE, IIT JEE) Submit your application NOTE: Any missing documents will deem application incomplete and ineligible
