The author of the social project Aksana Shyrko, Master of Sociology, a coach of a project Youth in Action
An essence of the project The social project "Weska. by“ is aimed at implementing an idea of reviving the Belarusian villages via a distance training of villagers in different areas of social entrepreneurship. It is necessary to consider a development of the social project and rate of a scholarship, because of urgency of the problem.
The project is focused to remote training of villagers for the following training programs : 1. School social entrepreneurship 2. Course "Business and tourism" 3. Development of a website (a forum for stakeholders of some projects as a place for communication between them).
Most important social problems in Belarusian villages. Especially the problems are very actual in villages which far from cities : 1. Underdeveloped sector of social services. 2. Little number of work activities, professional and social homogeneity, a small variety of jobs. 3. Alcoholism among young people.
The project is aimed to solve these problems. Main purposes: - Development and implementation of projects and programs which are adapted for rural living: work with youth, joining of them to meaningful social activities, help them to start their own business and find their place in life. - Support in professional development via learning necessary knowledge, skills and abilities. - Training of rural youth for self-employment (development of their personal projects in their villages).
