Cloud Camp (SCC) is a skill-building cum competition to: – – – Create awareness among students that cloud is THE new and upcoming IT trend Build cloud skills among the students Provide a platform for students and IT professionals to collaborate together on a cloud project The team behind SCC – skills-building among IBM business partners and the academic community Final stage of SCC - competition – – – Minor arrangement change to include completion of IT solution proposal in the camp Overview of 3 -day agenda: • Day 1 – Opening of SCC finals and cloud technology presentations (half day); Form group and work on proposals (half day) • Day 2 – Work on proposals • Day 3 – Presentation of proposals Prizes: • Champion team – Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus x 5 • Runner-up team – HTC Cha smartphone x 5 • Rest of participants – IBM Backpack • All will receive Certificate of Participation 4 © 2011 IBM Corporation

Date: 23 – 25 Feb 2012 (Thur, Fri & Sat) Venue: Dewan Utama (College Hall), Tunku Abdul Rahman College Time: 9. 00 am – 5. 00 pm How to get there? • Via LRT Take LRT to Taman Melati station. KTAR will provide college van from LRT to college. Need to show Transportation Pass. Van available every 15 mins with the first trip at 9. 00 am. • Own Transport Self-drive. Display SCC Car Pass so that the guards know. Need to take visitor tag. Follow signage to Dewan Utama. Parking available in front of hall. Push your knowledge sky high Competition Overview • Participants put in teams of 5 persons each. • Each team should consist of 1 IT professional or 2 post-grads, and 2 undergrads. • Two scenarios given and each team to decide which case study/scenario the team wishes to work on and come up a technical proposal for the business challenge. • Proposal divided into 3 major parts: – Address business challenges – Technical – Team dynamics • Each team will be assigned to an IBM mentor. Role of mentor is to provide assistance in planning your proposal and feedback to strengthen presentation. Note! Participants are to bring own notebook. Hall is Wi. Push your knowledge sky high Must Knows Proposal submission dateline • All presentations must be submitted via email to ibmscc@rootsasia. com by 23. 59 on 24 Feb 2012. If submission is done on the last day, marks will be deducted. Presentation template • You must use the standard presentation template provided. Some modifications are allowed. Download the presentation template from Smart. Cloud Camp Malaysia group in developer. Works. Presentation time • Each team will be given 25 mins to present.
