Sir Walter Scott • Born in Edinburg 15 Aug 1771. • Died in in Melrose 21 Sept 1832 at the age 61. • Scottish historical novelist and poet. • Very popular during his lifetime and over the world. • Many of his works remain classics of both Englishlanguage literature and of Scottish literature.
