Sir Walter Scott • Born in Edinburg 15 Aug 1771. • Died in in Melrose 21 Sept 1832 at the age 61. • Scottish historical novelist and poet. • Very popular during his lifetime and over the world. • Many of his works remain classics of both Englishlanguage literature and of Scottish literature.

His works Some of his world-famous works are: • Ivanhoe • Rob Roy • The Lady of The Lake • Waverley • The Heart of Midlothian • The Bride of Lammermoor

• Lame in the right leg. • Grew up in a strong healthy man. • Attended Edinburg High School. • Studied art and law in Edinburg University. • In 1797 Sir Walter Scott married Margaret Charlotte Charpenter. • They had 5 children.
