Sir Isaac Newton (25 December 1642 – 20 March 1726)
Sir Isaac Newton was an English physicist and mathematician who is widely recognised as one of the most influential scientists of all time and as a key figure in the scientific revolution. His book "Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy", first published in 1687, laid the foundations for classical mechanics.
Isaac Newton was born according to the Julian calendar on Christmas Day, 25 December 1642 at Manor in Woolsthorpe-by-Colsterworth. He was born three months after the death of his father, a prosperous farmer also named Isaac Newton. His mother name is Hannah Ayscough.
Achievements in Science He owns a lot of work on mechanics, optics, physics, mathematics and philosophy. Isaac Newton proved the scientific method. Newton's laws of motion are three physical laws that together laid the foundation for classical mechanics. He author of Newton's law of universal gravitation.
Apple incident The most famous story about Isaac Newton is the story of a fallen apple. Newton often told the story that he was inspired to formulate his theory of gravitation by watching the fall of an apple from a tree. But it was a myth and that he did not arrive at his theory of gravity in any single moment.
Isaac Newton died March 20, 1726. He was one of the greatest scientists in the history of physics, and the man who can be proud of not only every British, but every person on Earth.
