Where does it live / can it be found? It lives in the geographical area in the Russian Far east that stretches south to north for almost 1, 000 km but only 400 -500 live there today
What kind of habitat does it live in? 10 -30 square miles long but can be as big as 120 square miles It’s name kinda gives it away it lives in Siberia which is a very cold place in Russia so they live in extremely cold places
What is the biggest issue causing them to become endangered? Man hunting them Man encroaching in their habitat Habitat loss Illegal trade Man stealing them – poaching MAN IS THE MAIN THREAT TO THE SIBERIAN TIGER!!!
How many are left? Recent studies have shown there are probably 400 to 500 Siberian Tigers living in the wild and they live in a northern climate where it is harsh. This is to their advantage since there are not many people living in the harsh climate which leaves an ecosystem that is very much complete.
What does it eat? The Siberian tiger eats wild pigs, badgers, elk, goats, deer, and sometimes even bears. The Siberian tiger bites their prey`s neck. The Siberian tiger hunts at night.

How many newborn does it have at once and how often They can reproduce at four years of age –OMG, imagine if 4 year old humans were giving birth Gestation period is 3 ½ months Litter size is normally 2 or 4 cubs but there can be as big as 6
What does it do at day and night? DAY Siberian tigers are nocturnal so that means that they sleep during the day NIGHT They hunt for food at night and do everything else at night
Seasons Winter coat is more fluffy Summer coat is more dark and rough Siberian tigers do NOT hibernate
Are they being protected and what is being done to help them? Are they being protected answer - yes There are reserves being made so Siberian tigers can live alone Also there are laws against killing them
