Written Summary At the end of your debate preparation, you should have an analytical summary of your secondary research (literature review) It should include: Identification of at least two different perspectives Explanation of arguments presented by the authors Explanation of how evidence supports your debate statement Provide sources (make references to the source)
Group and Individual work Together: create a list of possible arguments Together: distribute preparation among team members Individually: look at debate statement from different sides. Individually: research secondary data (articles/videos/podcasts…) to find evidence that will support arguments. Together: share your data and prepare for the debate Individually: produce a written summary described in the previous slide NOTE: You may think about opposing team arguments
