What is Future Frosh Night? Each year, Santa Fe High School invites eighthgraders and their parents to attend Future Frosh Night. Teachers, students, and administrators provide valuable information about the classes and programs available to ALL incoming freshmen. The evening provides information about our exemplary programs including: Advanced Placement courses and challenging Honors programs; rigorous academics; college preparation and counseling; innovative career academies; top athletics programs; visual and performing arts programs; extensive support services; and exciting extracurricular activities.
Santa Fe High School Facts Part of the Whittier Union High School District California, La Serna Pioneer, Santa Fe, Whittier, Frontier Public High School founded in 1954 serving 9 -12 grade (approx. 2400 students) from the cities of Santa Fe Springs, Downey, Norwalk, Pico Rivera, and Whittier
WHAT is Future Frosh Night? What? Incoming freshmen learn about Santa Fe High School, graduation / college entrance requirements, sports and extra-curricular activities. Incoming freshmen get a chance to meet some teachers, counselors, coaches, administrators, and other staff.
Where? PARKING LOT current students greet 9 th graders and parents upon arrival NORTH GYM – a “pep-rally” kicks off the festivities; V. I. P. introductions and student speeches CLASSROOMS – “break-out” sessions with counselors, teachers, and coaches STUDENT QUADS – sports/clubs information booths
WHEN is Future Frosh Night? When? Each high school in the district hosts the event on the same day and same time in the spring. We distribute this “flyer” to our middle schools weeks in advance. ALL eighth grade families are encouraged to attend our event.

WHY do we host Future Frosh Night? Why? The goal is to sell our school and help make the transition from middle school to high school as smooth as possible. We encourage ALL of our future students to get involved somehow on campus.
