National Utility Industry Training Fund (NUITF) • A partnership between the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and several forward-thinking utility companies • Mission: provide employees and prospective employees with the best training available in the industry today. • Address the current shortage of trained workers and the need to continually update training for current employees • Each training center offers classroom facilities and a fully stocked outdoor training yard that provides a real-work environment. • Provides more cost-effective training by working collaboratively 13

Apprentice Training and Testing • Apprentice Programs – Mechanic – Electrician – Welder – Machinist • All are 4 year Programs with 1 year credited for time spent in a Generating Facility • Approximately 30% of Apprentice time is spent at Cedar Point with Apprentice Coordinators – Classroom – Lab/Shop/Hands On – Testing • Utilize a mix of Vendors and Journeymen to assist in the training 16
Other Training • All Generation Operator training is managed from Cedar Point • Onsite training with Flow Trainer includes – Print Reading – Valve Alignment – Lock Out Tag Out – System Flow Characteristics • Three-story structure 17
