AIRPORT AND HOTELS q ALCALA DE HENARES Alcalá de Henares is a nice city of about 200. 000 people, located 35 km northeast of the city of Madrid. It is situated about 18 km from ITP Ajalvir facilities, and 25 km from Madrid-Barajas Airport. The city, whose historical centre is one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites, is famous because it was the birthplace of Miguel de Cervantes, author of “Don Quixote”.
