Major short-term goals: Accreditation by the Ministry of Sport: • Official unique status of organization governing sleddog sport at the national level • Financial support from the state (up to 27 000 euro/year) • Right to hold National Championship and form national team Recognition by the IFSS: • Full voting membership • Cooperation in terms of judges training, anti-doping, race organization, etc. • Representation of Russian athletes at the international level, entering Russian team to the WCh/ECh
Sport Committee Chairman – Sergey Panyukhin Main goals: • Organization of system of athletes’ selection to the Russian National team (adults and juniors) • Organization of National Championships (Onsnow and Off-snow) • Coordination of selection of athletes to the Regional teams • Development and implementation of the system of the Russian Cup • Development the Russian sleddog sport race rules on the basis of the IFSS RR in collaboration with the Judges Committee
Youth Committee Chairman – Denis Chernatov Main goals: • Development and implementation system of junior sleddog sport schools in regions • Coordination of selection of juniors with the highest potential to the regional junior teams • Coordination of organization of junior training camps and training sessions in Russia • Development of a networking system (online and offline) for juniors around Russia as an additional tool for motivation, experience sharing and education • Development and implementation of incentive system for the most talented and successful juniors
Judges Committee Chairman: Elena Panyukhina Main goals: • Constant improvement and modernization of judges certification system according to the Russian standards • Development of education system for judges of different levels • Cooperation with the IFSS in terms of the judges training • Participation of Russian judges in the IFSS judges trainings and IFSS licensed races (WCup and EСup, WCh and ECh) as a part of judges crew • Development of Russian sleddog sport race rules on the basis of the IFSS RR in collaboration with the Sport Committee
Veterinary Committee Chairman: Anna Selivanova Main goals: • Development of animal welfare and veterinary requirements for mushers and race organizers • Development and implementation of sleddog sport veterinarians training system • Cooperation with IFSS in terms of the veterinarians’ training and anti-doping control • Development and implementation of anti-doping regulation in Russia
International Committee Chairman: Daria Panyukhina Main goals: • Application for IFSS full Membership • Cooperation with IFSS in terms of race organization, judges training, anti-doping control, junior sport development • Organization of international events: races, camps and seminars on the territory of Russia • Cooperation with other national Federations
Handicapped Athletes Person in charge: Mikhail Surbeev • Development and approval of the regulations on participation of the handicapped individuals in sleddog sport competitions • Attraction of handicapped athletes from other kinds of sport to sleddog sport • Popularization of sleddog sport activities among handicapped individuals • Training of the members of the RSSF in the field of sleddog sport related activities for handicapped people.

Development strategy Inner development: • Unification policy • PR-campaigns aimed at popularization of sleddog sport • Involvement of youth into sleddog sport. • Development of sleddog sport in the distant regions of Russia - Far East, the Ural, Siberia. • Organization of Russia sleddog sport Cup. • Implementation of doping-control International development: • Cooperation with international sleddog sport organizations • International judges training • Participation in IFSS anti-doping seminars and training of Russian specialists • Participation in international junior camps • Organization of international sleddog sport events on the territory of Russia
