Securing the Supply Chain Theses n Security has become one of the most important cost drivers for logistics. n Using advanced technologies in standardized environments is the best way to guarantee security. n Multipurpose use of technologies for safety and security reduce the costs for logistics. n Security audits are compulsory along the whole supply chain, from raw material delivery up to OEM / MRO / POS. Summary The monitoring of high value goods in international supply chain processes needs standardized screening in logistics areas to optimize costs and benefits. Auto-ID projects over all stages of vertical integration will combine supply chain transparency and EAS - this means: Process Safety and Security. RFID mode stirred chamber and low cost depth imaging may contribute to improve security and safety by a load unit fingerprint during the long supply chain. Thank you for your attention!
