Connect & Protect Oregon: City of Portland Serves as the National Model • Deployed Connect & Protect Oregon: City of Portland Serves as the National Model • Deployed first in Portland, Oregon • Aug. ’ 03 in 911 center – Over 100, 000 events processed – Now over 5, 000 incidents processed per day • Proposed as technology foundation for a growing number of state/local grant applications (State of Louisiana; State of Oregon; City of Augusta Ga. , etc. ) • Expanding to multiple Oregon counties – C&P now in Hillsboro – soon expanding to other Washington County cities
