A GOOD TEACHER ENJOYS TEAC The single most important quality that every teacher should possess is a love and passion for teaching young people. Teachers who do not enjoy their job will find it nearly impossible to be effective day in and day out.
A GOOD TEACHER HAS A WELL-BALANCED There is a long list of adjectives that can be used to describe the underlying CHARACTER personality of a good and effective teacher. Caring, compassionate, generous, responsible, kind-hearted and patient.
A GOOD TEACHER HAS A DEEP KNOWLEDGE OF THE SUBJECT HE/SHE TEACHES, CURRICULUM AND A great teacher has incredible knowledge of the subject matter they are teaching. STANDARDS They are prepared to answer questions and keep the material interesting for the students. They also have thorough knowledge of the school’s curriculum and other standards they must uphold in the classroom.
