• This is the portrait of an ideal friend by one of readers of the ‘Harvey Comics’ • I think that an ideal friend is a person who I can have great fun with. • When I’m in trouble he or she always can cheer me up. • He or she is the one who I can turn to when I have problems or need advice. I can talk all my problems through with him or her. • He or she can keep secrets. The ideal friend is kind, considerate, supportive, responsible loyal and brainy. • He or she is a person I don’t need a break from. I can always rely on my friend. We have similar interests and have a good laugh together. • I chose the proverb: • ‘ Make new friends and help the old, one is silver and the other gold’ • This proverb says that true friends must stand by each other (no matter what), forgive each other, be always there when you’re in trouble and never betray each other. • True Friends. • They are considerate and brainy. • Supportive, loyal and responsible, • Who you are never bored with. • They are true friends.
