Pushkin is the most important Russian writer of all time, like Shakespeare in England or Dante in Italy. Pushkin provided the standards for Russian arts and literature in the 19 th century.
Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin was born on June 6, 1799 in Moscow in a family of an untitled noble sort. The father – Sergey Lvovich The mother-Nadezhda Osipovna The great-grandfather of the poet African Abram Petrovich Hannibal was the pupil and the servant of Peter I.
In a family, except Alexander Sergeyevich there were some more children. Pushkin had brother Lev and the sister Olga. Little Sasha was raised by the nurse Arina Rodionovna Yakovleva which was illiterate, but at the nurse Pushkin received the first lessons of literary skill.
As well as it is accepted in noble families, to little Pushkin employ the tutor – the foreigner. And from 7 years Sasha starts learning German, English and French. Therefore he writes the first verses in French. From 9 years at Pushkin appears passion to reading. But from all subjects Sasha didn't fall in love with arithmetics.
In 12 years Alexander was brought to study in new, just opened educational institution - Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum near Petersburg. On October 19, 1811 Pushkin among 30 pupils was admitted to this lyceum where teacher were the most advanced stars of science of that time.
Names of friends whom Pushkin found in Lyceum: Ivan Pushchin, Wilhelm Küchelbecker, Anton Delwig. They forever remained loyal and close friends of Pushkin.
On January 4, 1815 in lyceum there was the first public test on which there arrived from Petersburg important state people. Pushkin read poem "Reminiscence of Tsarskoye Selo" just composed by him. Derzhavin was struck: "I GIVE LIRA to Pushkin. NOW it is possible to die!
Pushkin graduates from lyceum, and is issued in a rank of the collegiate secretary then it define in Board of foreign affairs. In 1824 Pushkin was sent into northern exile in a manor of parents of Mikhaylovskoye. There it continued work on "Eugene Onegin", wrote "Boris Godunov", poems. There friends visited him, there found its news of Decembrist uprising in which his friends participated, and about their execution.
The young poet, without knowing care and fear, composed and extended the freedom-loving poems. Alexander 1 wanted to banish for it Pushkin to Siberia. But Pushkin's friends – Karamzin and Zhukovsky achieved sentence mitigation. Pushkin sended to serve to the south to Russia.
On September 8, 1826 Pushkin returned on the homeland after long years of the link and wanderings. Pushkin was free, among friends, he was at glory top. These years – blossoming of Pushkin creativity. Many of its lyrical masterpieces, passionate love recognitions are created: "I loved you …", "On hills Georgia the night haze …", "Arion", "Poet", “Upas tree" and others.
In the winter of 1829 on Moscow ball Pushkin got acquainted with Natalya Nikolaevna Goncharova. It was then 16 years old. Its unusual beauty, youth excited the poet. In the spring of 1829 Alexander Sergeyevich made the first proposal.
Natalya Nikolaevna Goncharova Only about 4 times Pushkin's proposal was accepted, and on May 6, 1830 they got married. Soon together with the wife Pushkin moved to Petersburg.

The last years of Pushkin- year lives of hard work and high plans, are celebrated by hostility of society, literary loneliness, material difficulties. In November, 1836 Alexander Sergeyevich receives from Dantes by mail the letter which offends it and honor of his wife. Pushkin challenges Dantes to a duel.
On January 27, 1837, in the 5 th o'clock in the evening, on the Black small river in the suburb of Petersburg was Pushkin's fatal duel with Dantes on which Pushkin was fatally wounded in a stomach took place. Having lived two days in terrible tortures Pushkin died on January 29 (nowadays on February 10) 1937.
