Проектна робота На тему: “Hoshi Ryokan Hotel” Учениці 10 -Б класу Спеціалізованої школи № 159 м. Києва Литвин Катерини
Hoshi Ryokan Hotel Hoshi, a traditional Japanese ryokan. The hotel has been in business for more than 1300 years, and operated by the same family forty-six generations.
History The story of the Hoshi Ryokan began in 717, when Taicho Daishi, one of the greatest Buddhism teachers in the history of Japan, climbed Mount Hakusan to perform his training exercises. One night, while he was asleep, the spirit of the mountain appeared in his sleep and spoke to him of a miraculous underground spring, located in Awazu village, 20 -24 kilometers from the base of the mountain. He was instructed to travel to this wondrous place and, with the help of the villagers, unearth the hot spring that would cure the people of all their illnesses.
It has 100 guest rooms and a 'hanare', a private guest residence. There are two indoor and two same -sex-only outdoor hot spring baths. Two family baths can also be privately reserved by guests.
Rooms with private bath and toilet are available and there are large Japanese-style rooms suitable for four or more guests. Guests are provided with 'yukata' for relaxation. This cotton kimono is a comfortable way to dress after soaking in the bath.
The ryokan serves breakfast and dinner and will cater to some special requirements, such as vegetarian or no pork. Local seafood is used in much of their delicious food. Room service is available.
The tea ceremony is a traditional Japanese welcome. Harmony with nature and appreciation of season changes is evident to guests, and all rooms have been given a poetic name.
Location Ishikawa on Japan's Honshu Island. Cost Hoshi ryokan rooms start at around $670 a double a night. Breakfast and dinner are included.
