Prozessmesstechnik Dieter Mehret Seite 3 12. 07. 06 1) HART via Communicator Necessary Parts: 1. 1) HART-Communicator part no. 43070 (Model 375 only) Model 275 - not available any more - DDs must be loaded by the supplier of the communicator, at the owner's expense! Model 375 - current type - DDs downloadable via Internet also for FF! Note: In order to load DDs via Internet, you need a so called Upgrade Toolkit. You can order this Toolkit together with the communicator. If you order the communicator from Berthold, then you can download DD's from the Internet for 3 years. After 3 years you can extend it if you wish. 1. 2) DD für HART-Communicator (Software) obtainable see above If you buy the communicator 375 from Berthold, all Berthold DD's are installed in the communicator. Note: The DD revision of the communicator must be ≤ than the "Field Device Version" of the Uni-Probe. Due to this it is worthwhile to load all available revisions in the communicator. Up to now there are: 3 DD revisions for the LB 490 2 DD revisions for the LB 491

PACTware. The software is Windows based. Necessary Parts: 2. 1) Uni-Probe with newest software ≥Rev. 14 for LB 490 ≥Rev. 8 for LB 491 Is in series since May 2006. 2. 2) PC with RS 232 or USB Interface or DCS/PCS(with FDT-Container and HARTinterface) 2. 3) HART Modem part no. 37844 (RS 232) part no. 45159 (USB) not necessary for DCS/PCS, because already installed 2. 4) FDT Software FDT = Field Device Tool e. g. "PACTware" - download cost free via Internet (http: //www. pactware. com/english/PACTware/swdownload. htm) - must be installed on the PC 2. 5) DTM Software e. g. "PACTware HART Communication DTM (3. 0)" - download cost free via Internet (http: //www. pactware. com/english/PACTware/swdownload. htm) - must be installed on the PC 2. 6) DTM Software part no. : 47975

The following case describes the connection for HART. Necessary Parts: 3. 1) Uni-Probe with newest software ≥Rev. 14 for LB 490 ≥Rev. 8 for LB 491 Is in series since May 2006. 3. 2) PC with RS 232 or USB Interface or Siemens Simatic DCS/PCS with HART interface 3. 3) HART Modem part no. 37844 (RS 232) part no. 45159 (USB) not necessary for Siemens DCS/PCS, because already installed 3. 4) Simatic PDM Software (Revision ≥ 5. 2) part no. 45160 not necessary for Siemens DCS/PCS, because usually already installed 3. 5) DD (Software) part no. 38466 (LB 490 DD Revision ≥ 3) part no. 40053 (LB 491 DD Revision ≥ 2)

The following case describes the connection for Profibus PA Necessary for the measurement value transfer to the host system part no. : will be defined User Interface Necessary for parameter set up and calibration. part no. : will be defined All Uni-Probes with Fieldbus can communicate by HART alternatively. Further the 4 -20 m. A signal can be used parallel to the PA-Signal. E. g. for an instrument at the measuring point to show the reading. Seite 6
