Diana Frances Spencer was born on July 1, 1961 in the royal possession Sendrigem in Norfolk. She was the third daughter of future Viscount and Viscountess Althorp. Diana's father , Edward John Spencer, served at the court of King George VI. Her mother, Frances Ruth , was the daughter of Lady Fermoy, the maid of honor of the Mother Queen.
Early childhood Diana spent in Sendrigem , where she received her primary education at home. Her first teacher was a governess Gertrude Allen, who taught even Diana’s mother. Diana’s early childhood was filled with happiness. She grew up as a kind and sweet girl.
In twelve years, she was taken to the preferred school for girls in West Hill, Seven oaks , Kent. Soon, Diana became a favorite with both teachers and classmates. She loved sports games and dances. But the most important thing was that everybody started to notice a great ability to suffering and empathize in this young lady.
She became "Lady Diana " in 1975, when her father took the hereditary title of Count. During this period, the family moved to an ancient ancestral castle Althorp House in Nottregtonshirr.
In 1977, before leaving for Switzerland to study, a sixteen year old Lady Diana met Prince Charles for the first. He went to Althorp to hunt.
In autumn in 1980 there was a rumor about her affair with the Prince of Wales for the first time. It was started with the fact that the reporter, specializing in the coverage of the private life of the royal family, filmed Prince Charles walking in the company of a young shy girl in the shallows of the River Dee at Balmoral.
In February 1981, the couple met for a romantic candlelight dinner in Buckingham Palace. After dinner, Charles asked the most important question to the young girl , and Diana gave him the most important answer. And on February 24 it was officially announced about the engagement of Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer
In the early morning on July 28, 1981 about 600 thousand people were standing along the streets of London to welcome the wedding procession along its way from Buckingham Palace and Clarence House to St. Paul's Cathedral. Wedding ceremony was extraordinary and , moreover, not only the British triumph : about 750 million people watched it on TV, and the number of officially invited guests was two and a half thousand people.
The bride wore a dress from an unknown designer David Emanuel. For the creation of this extravaganza he needed a few hundred meters of excellent British ivory silk , woven by hand, and tulle , decorated with vintage lace with gold thread. At the bottom of the dress there were 10, 000 natural pearls. The length of silk loop is eight meters, and her shoes were made of gold and lace. Almost five months over a hundred first-class tailors worked on this masterpiece. Lady Diana 's face covered snow-white veil , and her head adorned shining tiara, Spencer’s family jewel. There was a blue bow embroidered diamond horseshoe on the corset. That was supposed to bring happiness in the marriage of Charles and Diana.
On July 21, 1982 at half past four in the morning Diana gave birth to Prince William of Wales, the future King. The child was baptized on August 4 and he was given the name of Arthur Philip Louis. Archbishop of Canterbury himself held the liturgy at the Music Hall of Buckingham Palace
On September 15, 1984 Diana gave birth to her second son who was named Henry Charles Albert David. In the future, he will be known as Prince Harry.

On June 15, 1995 "people's princess " Diana arrived in Moscow on a two-day visit. In the capital of Russia Diana led the Children's Hospital Fund in Tooshino. Another one million people came to see the princess during her last journey - people lined the streets of London while the coffin with their Princess was carried to the Westminster Abbey.
Her life is called a myth. Her fate is called a legend. Her last minutes on the Earth one of the greatest tragedies of the twentieth century.
