1. Значение: Обычное, регулярно повторяющееся действие: Every morning I get up at 8 o’clock.

Часто употребляется с наречиями частотности: always - всегда, usually - обычно, sometimes - иногда, seldom - редко, never - никогда, every day - каждый день (month - месяц, year - год…)

2. Образование: to work I work You work He work + s She work + s It work + s We work They work

3. Отрицательная форма: I work – I do not work I don’t work He works – He does not work He doesn’t work

4. Вопросительная форма: You work – Do you work? He works – Does he work?

5. Изменения в написании: watch – watches push – pushes dress – dresses fix – fixes go – goes study – studies

6. Положение наречий Всегда перед основным глаголом: I often watch TV. Do you often watch TV? I don’t often watch TV.

7. To be – быть являться находиться: to be I You He She We They are am are is is are

You are a doctor – Are you a doctor? He is a teacher – He is not a teacher.
