The Present Continuous is used 1)To express an activity happening now. They are playing in the garden. 2)To express an activity happening around now, but perhaps not at the moment of speaking. She is studying Maths at university. 3)To express a planned future arrangement. I'm meeting my friend at ten o'clock tomorrow.
