Safe Haven • Remote Safe Haven (RSH) Description. – Per CNIC INST 3440. 17, a RSH is a location anywhere in the world named in the evacuation order/authorization or subsequent modification to that order/authorization to which dependents are directed to relocate on a temporary basis to await a decision by competent authority to either return to the PDS or proceed to a designated place. Personnel evacuated to a RSH are entitled to certain allowances. The supporting Personnel Support Activity (PSA) or Personnel Support Detachment (PSD) may assist with determining allowances associated with movement of personnel to a RSH.

D Tenant Commands will pay evacuation allowances per JFTR/JFR – Return to affected area will be determined by ICO based on situation
