E One-Door Reader Board can be mounted in a threegang junction box with an optional magnetic tamper switch. The Po. E One-Door Reader Board itself includes the following components: o An embedded Ethernet port for communication and power to the board, readers and door (depending on power needs) o Jumper for setting either power-over-Ethernet or a separate 12 -VDC power supply to the board o Two relays configurable for normally open or normally closed operation o Four general-purpose input points that can be supervised or not to serve as a door-input point, request-to-exit point, enclosure tamper point, etc. o LEDs to indicate board and relay status.

Multiplex Board (PREM-BRD 8 MUX) MUX-8 • The MUX-8 is an eight port RS-485 Multiplex Board (PREM-BRD 8 MUX) MUX-8 • The MUX-8 is an eight port RS-485 multiplexer that takes a RS-485 or RS-232 input and create eight 2 wire RS-485 communication channels. • Common uses are for: – star topology wiring schemes – home-run wiring – when wiring distances exceed the 4000 ft. limit of the RS-485 standard – Isolation of 9000 and RI/O panels to independent RS 485 channels
