A branch is the Parliament consisting of two chambers: the State Duma (lower) and the Federation Council (upper). 2 is a branch of the government Council of Ministers headed by the Prime Minister. And 3 branch is the president and his helpers.

Deputies in the Duma can unite for the unions fractions. Are united by a common idea. At this moment in the State Duma represented four parties are: United Russia, CPRF, LDPR and A Fair Russia.

The Federal Councill Federal Council approves or rejects the laws adopted by the State Duma. If a law is passed, then it is sent to the President of the Russian Federation.
