5. Role of faculty in PMstudy PMP Trainings Workflow for Business Development (B 2 C) Faculty have an opportunity to be a part of B 2 C approach and get additional business Students contact PMstudy through receptionist service (1 -88850 PMUSA) or through email Within 2 hours of call Details provided to faculty for further follow-up (preferably faculty in the local area from where student called) ** Preferably within same day in which call was received During class, faculty try to promote PMstudy *** During the class ** : Calls by faculty are optional. PMstudy encourages faculty to talk with students so that they can understand student expectations better, and this is a practice followed in several successful companies (e. g. GE, Cisco, Microsoft etc. ) where technical people talk directly with customers to better understand customer requirements. However, some faculty can opt not to take these calls, in which case, such calls will be routed to other available faculty. ** : Every city will be allotted to two faculty. Calls made by faculty will be tracked. If a student who has talked with a PMstudy faculty signs up and makes payment, faculty will be paid $ 100 as incentive fee (for each student). This is beyond the remuneration for faculty training classes. Please note that faculty will have to enter the information about their calls in the PMstudy Backoffice system. *** : The faculty remuneration is variable depending on number of people in the class – to be discussed shortly © 2011 VMEdu, Inc. 5. Role of faculty in PMstudy PMP Trainings Workflow for business development (B 2 B) – some questions We are creating a system that is transparent, fair and rewarding for faculty. • • Ques: What if more than two faculty are involved in a sales deal? Ans: Usually, PMstudy will give one sales lead to a single faculty. However, if more than one faculty worked on a sales lead, the incentive will be split between the faculty (exact details will be worked out on a case-to-case basis and the decision taken by PMstudy will be final and binding. ) • Ques: What if the faculty has been assigned a company but no significant developments have happened and the corporate deal has not materialized? Ans: If an account is not closed within 6 months (and no significant progress is made during this time), PMstudy will have the option to allocate the account to another faculty. • • • Ques: How will PMstudy reward high-achievers? Ans: PMstudy will give lucrative accounts to high-achievers who demonstrate the ability to close deals. High-achievers will also be nominated to represent PMstudy in PMI conferences, seminars etc. in US and abroad. © 2011 VMEdu, Inc. All rights 59
