PIPELINES Purpose: connection within fuel, oil, hydraulic and other systems of airplane. Pipelines are divided on: Rigid – aluminium alloys, steel trunks, housing Flexible – elastic hose and flexible coupling, Requirements for the pipelines -Short length for reducing hydraulical losses and mass - Small amount of rectilinear zones with stepless kinks - Mounting which guarantees absence of mounting stresses -Absence of normal cross-section deformation at kinks -Distance between supports shouldn’t cause resonance oscillations -Supplying temperature compensation -Pressurizing of junctions For joining pipelines among themselves and connecting them to assembly tubulure there exist different types of connections: Tire valve hinged rotational angular hose coupling bulkhead extensible

Pipelines are divided into: Rigid – aluminum alloys, steel Flexible – rubber tubes and couplings, polytetrafluorethylenium tubes, hoses Requirements imposed to the pipelines: - Small length for decreasing the hydraulic losses and mass - Small amount of curvilinear segments with smooth bendings - Mounting, that ensuring absence of assembly stresses - Absence of cross-sectional deformations in the areas of bending - The distance between bearings may not cause the occurrence of resonance oscillation - The temperature compensation support - The tightness of connections There exist different types of connections to interconnect the pipelines and to attach them to the pipe connections of two components: Sleeve connection End-telescope joint Hose-coupling By rotary square Hinge joint
Types of pipeline connections Screw nipple union type tubulure Slipping nut nipple pipeline Consists of pipeline , breakupped for cone or sphere, nipple, slipping nut, tubulure Pressurising connection is provided due to dense bordering of breakupped pipeline to tubulure

Types of pipeline connections Hinged (swivel) Rubber seal Balls Pipeline pipeline screw Pipelines hub It is used in the hydraulic systems in the places where the pipelines change their arrangement in the process of exploitation. It consists of inboard and outboard hubs. hub has two semi-annular grooves. One groove for Each sealing ring, second - for balls. The lubrication fitting is screwed in to the thread gab of outboard hub for lubrication of balls.
Types of pipeline connections With the help of rotary brace It is used for hard pipelines the wiring of which is held according to the place of mounting of the unit and working object is under the conservative pressure. Clamping bolt Rotary brace
Marking of Lines Consists of the basic and additional marking. The Basic marking is a sign and anticorrosive coat - indicate of line nomination. The Additional marking is a text, which indicative on belonging of line or setting of working environment; preventive sign; indicative of streamline working environment. Defects of Hard Lines Destruction in the area of beading part. Destruction in the places of bend. Destruction and shabbiness in the area of fastening. Crack at the nipple. Scratch and risks (possible depth at 10% diameter). Corrosion (internal and external). At finding out defects of lines are subject replacement.
