Affiliates Agreement Notifications are an obligation Agreement on the conditions to be respected by an Affiliate when implementing a European Standard (EN) stipulates : • Article 1 - To inform CEN and/or CENELEC of the implementation [of the EN] • Article 3 - In the event that an Affiliate defaults in the performance of the obligations in this Agreement and fails to remedy the default within 30 days of being notified, the Affiliate shall be referred to the CEN Administrative Board and/or to the CENELEC Administrative Board for appropriate disciplinary action. • BUT ABOVE ALL. . . Notifications ARE important for ALL • For the Affiliates – show good tangible signs of approximation of their standardization system to ESS also helps in negotiations of agreements with EU (ACAA, FTA, DCFTA, Mo.
