The Process Brainstorming Session Launch Webinar – July 2015. 7 week online class 5 week Experiment and Prototype phase. Learning Exchange and Celebration at the White House Ongoing participation in peer mentoring in our region and with teams from across the nation.
The Journey Design team learned the human-centered design process by applying it to one of three challenges from USDOL. Class was taught by Acumen and IDEO 1. Introduction to Human Centered Design 2. Inspiration Phase 3. Ideation Phase – Synthesis 4. Ideation Phase – Prototyping 5. Implementation Phase Enabled us to be more intentional about facing and solving our current challenges with the implementation of WIOA. Learn from your mistakes – continue to experiment and prototype solutions. 11 teams participated in the White House event.
The journey continues We have been challenged to continue the work in our region and share this concept with our peers. Our goal is to use the Customer Centered Design concepts in much of what we do at North Central. USDOL will be coming out with a new round of challenges such as: How might we create policies and procedures with the customer in the center? How might we design program when serving those with disabilities?
