Key Strategies p p p Leverage P 2 opportunities with OPPT programs, EPA offices and other federal agencies. Promote the development of voluntary consensus standards to advance P 2 practices. Strengthen state and local infrastructure by providing resources ($ and technical) for state TAPs. Identify alternatives to chemicals of concern such as diisocyanates, phthalates, BPA, etc. Integrate P 2 approaches into OPPT’s chemical action plans Work with federal partners to create and promote “greener jobs” – e. g. , the auto industry, building 11 retrofits, chemical engineering.
