Ozone layer depletion Ozone layer depletion

What is an ozone and why it depletes? Ozone layer is a natural filter What is an ozone and why it depletes? Ozone layer is a natural filter of ultraviolet rays Scientific studies state that the cause of ozone depletion is chemicals which contain chlorine or bromine Chemicals CFCs 80% of ozone depletion Halons Even more harmful than CFCs HCFCs Less harmful than CFCs Methyl chloroform CCl 4

Working title and thesis statement: Which destruction technologies is the most effective in dealing Working title and thesis statement: Which destruction technologies is the most effective in dealing with ozone depleting substances? A primary objective of this paper is to evaluate the types of destruction technologies such as incineration, non-incineration and plasma technologies, and to determine which type is the most effective for protection the ozone layer. The objective will be reached by comparing the most common facilities from each type of technologies: Cement Kiln from incineration, Super-Heated Steam Reactor from non-incineration and Inductively coupled radio frequency plasma from plasma technologies. They will be evaluated by each of the criteria: 1. economic benefit, 2. efficiency, 3. absence of harmful side effects. The essay will show that non-incineration type is the most suitable in comparison with others.
