Constant Power Control “ 09” Structure of Control Section Graphic Symbol Q p cam feedback piston α N M control piston 0 spring compensator spool pp Pump swash-angle(α) changes in inverse proportion to delivery pressure(p). Under power control condition, the figure p ×α remains in constant balance between two forces acting on cam. One force is spring acting via the compensator spool, the other force is delivery pressure via the feed back piston. The operating point change is dependent on swash angle. Consequently, pump oil power (p × Q) is kept constant at constant condition of shaft speed(N) because Q=N ×function(tanα). 48
