Osnabrück University
Osnabrück University, founded in 1974, is a young, vibrant university in northwest Germany that is famous for its research and teaching in the areas of Humanities, Social Sciences, Science, Law and Business Administration/Economics. The University provides ideal conditions for over 12. 500 students and Ph. D students to learn and conduct research.
Both its structured Ph. D programs and modular degree programs feature high standards of quality.

As a rule, students complete a study program by earning a degree. If, however, you plan to spend only one or two semesters in Osnabrück without earning a degree, you can apply for short-term study.
Short-term students usually come from partner universities or are grant holders who only plan to study here for a short period of time. If you come from a partner university special conditions apply.
Requirements §You must also fulfill the admission requirements for short-term study. §For study programs, you will also need knowledge of English or German. §The German language requirements for the short-term study program are a bit lower than for the regular programs: You must show proof that your German language skill is at B 2 level.
Osnabrück University is connected with many partner universities all over the world including VSAU. Each year, exchange students from these universities come to study in Osnabrück for one or two semesters.
