New Software Features The TS 2 includes new software built from the “ground up”. The software is based on a SQL database.

Multi-level SRC makes testing SRCs faster and easier. Operators no longer have to set up SRCs. Two options for running: • Run by scanning barcode from Ready menu. • Scan SRC from SRC menu in QC. 1 SRC can run all three levels. Just pick what levels you want to run and go.

Dynamic Patient Entry Screen Patient Data entry screen can be customized for faster and easier patient data entry to reduce pre-analytical errors. Set up the Patient Information you want to appear on print out by selecting and then moving down to second menu. Select which information is required to ensure that operators enter correct information. Dynamic menu allows you to change the order of appearance on information entry screen.

Customize Measured Parameters Three ways to customize measured parameters in your reports. Blanking – Allows operator to pick what parameters are blanked at the time of barcode swipe. Panels – Allows multiple customizable panels to be named and selected at the time of barcode swipe. Universal Reported Parameters – Allows the operator to select which parameters will be (or not be) reported for all cassette styles without user prompt upon barcode scan.

Create Customized Test Panels Save time with easy-to-access custom test panels. Users can set-up and name their own panels (i. e. “Dr. Smith” or “Potassium Only”) Only panels that contain tests available on the cassette will be selectable. If a custom panel is setup in the analyzer, the user will see this screen before patient measurement.

Universal Reported Parameters Easily customize testing with the ability to disable any parameter on the OPTI. By selecting a parameter, you choose what to report. Simply deselect the parameter to disable reporting of it. • No pop-ups • Independent of cassette style (when parameter is on multiple cassette types)

Set Normal and Critical Ranges Aid interpretation of results. Results are flagged when outside of normal ranges or outside of critical range. Enable Normal and Critical ranges. Set up personal alarm ranges for normal and critical values.

Customizable Printing Add a printer heading to each printout or set the OPTI to print to an external printer. Select what to print out and how many copies. Add a custom header to the top of the printout. Connect to an external printer by Ethernet or USB serial.

New Liquid QC Features New software allows for simultaneous storage of both OPTI Check and OPTI Check Plus limits. The TS 2 will not delete QC data from the database when a new lot is introduced, saving users from hassle of backing up QC data. Clear instructions for handling of liquid controls. Print Control Statistics report based on Lot, Level and Date.

Export/Import Configuration Don’t lose your configuration on software updates. New Software is designed to save settings and all information in the database- even when additional information is added to the database. Use a USB stick to export the OPTI configuration from the analyzer. Insert into another analyzer to import the same configuration to save on time and hassle. Safely remove USB from any screen just by pressing the icon.

Other Changes Other software changes improve ease-of-use. Easier Software Updates • Software is quickly updated through the USB drive. • The database is no longer cleared of patient, QC, or configuration data when software is updated, making software updates less painful for customers. Easier Support • The TS 2 can handle new lots of Hb calibrator cassettes to reduce the need for the analyzer to come in for service. • Data, reports, and configuration can be exported to USB and emailed to technical support, making it easier to obtain critical data for problematic diagnosis.

Customer Feedback Customers are most satisfied with: We have received feedback from different users across the U. S. and Europe. All feedback has been positive: Ø All customers preferred the TS 2 over the TS. The difference was compelling enough to make several CCA customers want to upgrade to a TS 2 when they had previously resisted upgrading to a TS.
