BAYS Foundation • Tom Mistele and two fellow LAX-rats • Created foundation to raise BAYS Foundation • Tom Mistele and two fellow LAX-rats • Created foundation to raise money for underserved youth • Sponsor of the San Francisco Fall Lacrosse Classic • Inspire youth lacrosse players by watching high level D 1 men's lacrosse • Entice D 1 players to relocate to Bay Area to coach youth • SF Classic • Non-profit event run by volunteers • All proceeds (after event expenses) go to BAYS Foundation grantees • Not sustainable without sponsorships, tickets sales and volunteers

BAYS Foundation • Harvard, Johns Hopkins, University of Denver, Notre Dame, Brown, UNC, Lehigh BAYS Foundation • Harvard, Johns Hopkins, University of Denver, Notre Dame, Brown, UNC, Lehigh & Ohio • $225, 000 in grants in first three years: • America SCORES Bay Area; East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring (EPATT); Girls on the Run Bay Area; Lacrosse for LIFE; Oakland Community Pools Project; Real Options for City Kids (ROCK); and KEEN San Francisco. • Now $10, 000 grant to NCJLA - financial aid to boys and girls who would be otherwise unable to participate in youth lacrosse.
